Tijdmachine Events

Tijdmachine Events is a party that takes you through the decades, with music from then and now. I basically did it all: built the website, made the trailer, designed Instagram posts, created a new logo, and made the event poster. The goal? A sold-out venue.

About the project

A complete promo package created for an event that literally takes you back in time.®

What I did
  • Built the website with all info and ticket link

  • Made the trailer in After Effects (high energy, high vibes)

  • Designed Instagram posts.

  • Created a new logo in Illustrator

  • Designed the poster in Photoshop

  • Everything in a retro style that fits the name “Tijdmachine”

Strategy & Concept

Goal: a sold-out venue and an event that feels like the good old days.

I chose a retro style with soft, friendly colors and graphics inspired by the ‘90s and earlier. It matched perfectly with the lineup, from old school tracks to current hits. My inspiration came mostly from vintage party posters and retro visuals.

Process & Decisions

How everything came together step by step.

The trailer had to instantly give off energy and party vibes, like you were already in the middle of the crowd. I kept the logo clean and recognizable so it would work well on both posters and socials. For the poster and visuals, I went with a retro style and soft tones to keep it fun and inviting. The website was kept simple and clear so people could get their tickets in one click. Choosing the right colors took a few tries, anything too dark felt too serious, so I went with a warm and welcoming palette in the end.

Result & Reflection

Sold-out event and lots of positive reactions to the logo & trailer.

The party was a success and the venue was packed. The logo and trailer stood out the most, the website and Instagram posts could be better next time.
Lesson learned: promoting an event takes way more work than you'd think.
Proud of: the trailer and the logo, those are definitely my favorites.
