Music Video – ‘I’m Okay’
A school project where I did everything myself: direction, storyboard, camera, editing, and color grading.
Music Video
Video Production
About the project
For my final exam, I chose the song ‘I’m Okay’ by Buunshin ft. Idle Days.®
Story
The story follows a girl who walks to a remote place after a broken relationship, seeking solitude. There, she dances through a moment of release and freedom. As the drop ends, she walks back home while everything around her plays in reverse — symbolizing the rewinding of emotions and a fresh start.
Process
From concept to final edit, all in two weeks.
In just two weeks, I developed the entire project: concept, storyboard, filming, editing, and post-production. The color grading was intentionally tuned to match the shift from dark to hopeful, and at the climax, I used fast cuts, light effects, and rhythmic movement to add extra impact.

Challenges & Solutions
Time, technique, and storytelling, in balance.
The biggest challenge was telling a story in a short time that matched the emotional build-up of the track. By making clear storyboard decisions beforehand, I was able to edit faster while staying consistent in style and mood.

What I thought of it
A project where I could truly leave my mark.
I’m proud of how the emotions and music come together in this video. Looking back, I would intensify a few things — especially the color grading, as the visuals now feel a bit dull and grey. A music video should have more color and atmosphere to better convey the emotion and energy of the track.
